How To Create Foreign Bank Account That Receives Money In Nigeria – Payoneer

Payoneer is a multi currency online payment platform that enables business with clients, suppliers and marketplaces worldwide to pay and get paid, withdraw directly to local bank with multiple payment currencies.

How To Create a Payoneer Account in Nigeria

Verifying Your Account

To verify your payoneer account is pretty simple: you need a Passport or Drivers License.

How To Create The Foreign Bank Account From Payoneer

  • On the home screen, after successful registration, you will see: USD, EUR, GBP.

  • Click on anyone of your choice and you will see: Withdraw, Receiving Accounts, USD Transactions.

  • Click on Receiving Accounts
  • You will see USD Account 1.

  • After clicking on it, boom you will see your foreign bank account details as shown in mine below.

Linking Payoneer To Paypal

Copy your generated foreign bank account details and link with PayPal to enable withdrawal of funds to your Payoneer foreign account and then directly to your local bank account.

Withdrawal Limit

Payoneer has a daily withdrawal limit of $5000 and a 30 point of sales transactions daily with $2500 daily limit.

Adding New Bank Account For Withdrawal

To withdraw, go to settings and choose bank accounts. Choose the account type:

  • To add a new bank account for withdrawal, select Your Account Tab.
  • Select Add Bank Account
  • Follow the instructions displayed on your screen to successfully add the bank account details.
  • Approving bank account takes 3 business days.

NOTE: Ensure your name registered with your payoneer account is the same with that of your local bank account and also contact details. This is also applicable to any third party account you want to withdraw money to.

To Withdraw To Your Local Bank

After adding bank account and perhaps you have used payoneer foreign account to receive funds,

  • Select the bank account to withdraw funds to
  • Click on withdraw
  • Follow onscreen instructions to enable withdrawal.

How Long Does It Take For Funds To Reach Your Account?

  • For withdrawals within US, withdrawn funds takes 2-3 business days.
  • Withdrawals outside US takes 2-5 business days after you receive confirmation email.
